A Little About
Me
I'll try to
keep this brief, but I love to talk. My name is Barbara, I was born in
December of 1956, and I live in West Texas. I have a traditional
Southern accent, so excuse me if it comes across in my typing...*smile*
AngelBBW
is the nick I go by when I am chatting or when I receive or send email.
The BBW in my name stands for Big Beautiful Woman. I'm not saying I'm beautiful,
what I am saying is I am a woman of significant substance. I have been
this way my entire life and have learned over the years to like myself
and to understand not everyone in this world was designed by the Creator
to be a size four.
I am an avid
angel collector and have angels in both my home and my office. I
believe angels are among us in our daily lives; we just need to open our
hearts to see them.
I am an Executive
Secretary in a small rural hospital and have held the same position since
1983. I guess that makes me a loyal employee or someone who doesn't
like change.
I am single
and have a son, Matthew, the light of my life, who was born in September,
1998. Yes folks, that means I was well past 40 when I had my first
and only child. Being an older, single, Mother is a joy and a blessing.
I'm lucky because my Mother lives with us and cares for Matthew while I
work. It's nice not to have to worry about who is taking care of
him. He has helped keep both of us "young at heart".

Our family
wouldn't be complete without our Chihuahua, Callie. If I could just
teach her how to say "Taco Bell" I could retire!

We are closer than sisters because we choose to be.
Here are three
of my friends. DamselBBW is on the left, Prissy is in the middle,
and Sarah is on the right. I work with all of these ladies and I
can tell you their beauty on the outside comes from their beauty on the
inside. They are all wonderful friends. For all you eligible
fellows out there...Prissy is happily married, but DamselBBW and Sarah
are still looking for "Mr. Right".
