This site is a continuation of some web work I did in Pasco County.
I served as Director
of Information Services in Pasco for 10 years, taking an early retirement option
in July 1997. I returned to graduate school in
Tallahassee , where I completed a Ph.D. in Administration & Leadership.
I now am a consultant for two organizations, one based in Florida and one based in Alabama.
The main intent of the site was to provide a site for educators to locate career opportunities in elementary and secondary education. Success in your job searching! The quotes and language notes are due to my background and interests.
Who is Sammy?
As you know, dogs are just little people in fur coats.
Sammy is a cuddly little basset who lived in Tampa, Florida and in Tallahassee, Florida. Sammy is guaranteed to be the first basset with his own home page since Al Gore invented the Internet. Since his move from Tampa to Tallahassee in 1997, he has been the new sheriff in our neighborhood, keeping an eye on deer, turkeys, an occasional coyote and bobcat, and many armadillos. In July of 2003, Sammy got quite ill and had his spleen removed, but the cancer had spread. On January 29, 2004, Sammy slipped away at four in the morning. He will be missed.
Here are extremely rare and uncensored photos of Sammy and Bobby. Sam's favorite thing is riding around with other four legged friends. We now have a smaller basset, Maggie. Not quite as big as Sammy (Sammy weighed in at 72 pounds). Petite Maggie hits the scales at 38 pounds.
