For Entrepreneurs

This is somewhat tongue in cheek, but based on observations these past years in Tallahassee as well as email suggestions for a wish list from avid fans, there appear to be several job opportunities in the Tallahassee area for some enterprising individuals. The opportunities fluctuate depending upon the season, but include the following:

Pesticide control - particularly ticks and redbugs.
Tree trimming - no one cuts trees - they just keep trimming them.
Street repaving - streets appear to be under a constant state of repair.
Car repair - particularly those specializing in front end alignment.
Affordable off campus housing.

Wish list items submitted by people familiar with Tallahassee include:

Less expensive (can you say cheaper?) ways to fly into and out of town.
More choice in newspapers.
Better TV and radio reception.
More choice in TV and radio station news.
More "ethnic" restaurants - closer to downtown as well as to the three colleges in town: Tallahassee Community College, Florida A and M, and Florida State University.
More off campus parking - particularly during football games.
Truth in advertising: renaming Capitol Circle to Capitol SemiCircle.
