The  Northern  Slavocracy

While it seems that all records of slavery and abuse of slaves has deliberately emanated from the South, it is instructive to read of the Yankee slavocracy in the 1700's, before they sold their slaves South.
Slavery was a Norhtern Yankee business, and slavery was heavy in the North for 200 years - BEFORE IT EVER CAME TO THE SOUTH !
The North was always the real SLAVE STATES !  The USA Federal flag has always been the real slavery flag and still is.  NEVER has the CSA (Confederate States of America) flags flown over anything to do with slavery !

Of course the Lincoln era made sure this fact never came out, and in fact hid it, and turned it around to make it APPEAR that the Southern states were the slave states.  In reality, the only reason the slaves were eventually force-sold south, was so the North could make more money from the Southern industries and farms, where the North attained most of their wealth from !  Southerners were basically forced to have slaves by the Yankees !  The southerners never really approved of slavery, as today everyone is made to think that they were - that is all part of the invented 'history' of the Northern Federalists.  Propaganda that all of us have been indoctrinated with daily for the past 148 years !

On this web site, there are various writings by the Southern people who lived through Lincoln's murderous War.  On this page, we will read out of the journal of a Northerner of Rhode Island, the center of the slave trade in America.  And this slave business there in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island,  became the largest in the world, even out-doing England and Spain in the 1700's !  And this is way before Lincoln was President !  This was in the 1700's !  There was no slavery at all in the South at this time, but it was a booming business in the Northern states !

As is mentioned below, Dr. McSparran, owner of the very large Rhode Island Slave business,  gave (or sold) slave children away from their mother, perhaps because his thriftiness didn't want another mouth to feed, and it was cheaper to use free labor. This splitting up of slave families  originated with New Englanders, and runaway slaves were not unusual.  Slaves tried to escape all the time.  They were not treated well at all, and beaten often, even the children slaves !

This plantation of Dr. MacSparran was not in the South, but on Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, and it will be recalled that Providence, Rhode Island by 1750 had surpassed Liverpool as the center of the English slave trade. The name of the book's publisher is interesting as the New Englander's immediately set upon the native Pequot Indians and sent many to the West Indies as slaves. The Pequot's have now been compensated for this with a gambling casino, Foxwoods.  The Northerners enslaved anyone, blacks and Indians alike.  And mind you, the Native American Indians are who really owned all the land that the white man had now in their possession and claimed !  The South never did this, and were good friends with the American Indians.

On the eve of a departure to England in 1754, Dr. MacSparran gave his slave girl Maroca a conditional manumission, saying he'd set her free if he did not return. His leniency with her promiscuity, and that there is no record of him manumitting any other of his slaves, leads one to believe that some of her several children were his.

The    Northern    Slavocracy

"Among the other male...slaves (of Dr. MacSparran), Bolico and Peter are occasionally mentioned (his diary) as performing routine tasks on the farm. Likewise, Emblo and Moll, besides their household tasks, helped with such farm work as raking hay, stacking rye, pulling beans, digging potatoes, harvesting corn and gathering apples. There is no mention of the women slaves having husbands, but apparently without benefit of matrimony, Emblo, Moll and Maroca all added offspring to the Glebe menage, much to the distress of their master.

Emblo had been registered for baptism at St. Paul's in 1730 as "an African Negro child and slave." Apparently Dr. MacSparran had brought her (Maroca) up, as he had (her son) Stepney and he kept the child as one of his own slaves. In 1757 Emblo gave birth to twins, one of which was stillborn. Some months later the living twin was baptized by the name of Lucy, and was given to Mrs. Gardiner. Moll also had a daughter Phillis, born in 1748. In the church register it is recorded that the child was baptized by the doctor before he sold her to David Dennison.

On October 24, 1743 he recorded: "This morning my Negro woman Maroca was brou't to the bed of another girl. I am perplexed about her conduct with Col. Updike's Negro. She is a Christian, but seems not concerned about her soul, nor minds her promise of chastity which she has often made me."   Two years later he was still worried about Maroca's behavior, and felt impelled to discipline her..."I gave Maroca one or two lashes for receiving presents from Mingo. I think it was my duty to correct her..."

The child was named Maroca for her mother, and baptized February 8, 1744 and was given to Benjamin Mumford, a close friend of the McCarran's. In 1749 Maroca bore another baby girl, Jane, whom her master baptized and gave to "Mistress Alice Gardiner."

Even more frustrating was Hannibal's insubordination and his impudence with Mrs. MacSparran, which led from one stormy scene to another. August 29, 1751, Dr. MacSparran reported, was "a very uneasy day with us...I got up this morning early, and finding Hannibal had been out, I stript and gave him a few lashes till he begged (for mercy). As Harry was untying him, my poor passionate dear (wife), saying I had not given him enough, gave him another lash or two, upon which he ran and Harry after him as far as William Brown's.

But there was little hope of improvement in Hannibal's relations...and separation seemed to offer the only solution. A week later Dr. MacSparran wrote: "Peter having the day before heard Hannibal in conversation with Robert Hazard's (slave) Jack of North Kingstowne, concocting another escape told me of it...."

It is interesting to note that "concocting escapes" was not much found in the south when slavery finally went there. Slaves were treated totally different in the south by southerners, and they were not beaten.

In Africa, when two tribes battled, the winner of that war sold the other tribe into slavery, which is how many slaves were obtained that came into the Americas.  In Africa, this was the expected manner in which to deal with the losers.  Then, slave traders would bring this "cargo" to the market where they thought it would bring the best price.

Less than 10% of all the slaves that came into the Americas were brought into the USA.  Those that did come came in slave ships that were 100% owned, operated and outfitted by New England owners (See "Complicity-How the North Promoted, Prolonged and Profited from Slavery" by Farrow, Lang and Frank, of the Hartford Courant, 2005).

The Emancipation Proclamation was a war measure taken against the Confederacy by Lincoln, because the measure did not free any of the slaves in the Union or its territories, where Lincoln had authority but did not use it to have freed all the slaves immediately.  The intent of the timing of the Proclamation was to gain Union support from European nations, and in so doing, to also perhaps generate some civilian uprising among the black population in Confederate states, and ultimately, to win the war. (See "Myths of American Slavery", Walter D. Kennedy, Pelican Press, 2003).

Slavery could have been stopped before it ever started if Africans had not established the process of selling off the members of the losing tribes, in a manner not unlike Joseph being sold off by his brothers.

Slaves were auctioned openly in the Market House of Philadelphia; in the shadow of Congregational churches in Rhode Island; in Boston taverns and warehouses; and weekly, sometimes daily, in Merchant's Coffee House of New York. Such Northern heroes of the American Revolution as John Hancock and Benjamin Franklin bought, sold, and owned black people. William Henry Seward, Lincoln's anti-slavery Secretary of State during the Civil War, born in 1801, grew up in Orange County, New York, in a slave-owning family and amid neighbors who owned slaves if they could afford them. The family of Abraham Lincoln himself, when it lived in Pennsylvania in colonial times, owned slaves.

The elements which characterized Southern slavery in the 19th century, and which New England abolitionists 'claimed' to view with abhorrence, all were present from an early date in the North. Practices such as the breeding of slaves like animals for market, or the crime of slave mothers killing their infants, testify that slavery's brutalizing force was at work in New England. Philadelphia brickmaker John Coats was just one of the Northern masters who kept his slave workers in iron collars with hackles. Newspaper advertisements in the North offer abundant evidence of slave families broken up by sales or inheritance. One Boston ad of 1732, for example, lists a 19-year-old woman and her 6-month-old infant, to be sold either "together or apart." Advertisements for runaways in New York and Philadelphia newspapers sometimes mention suspicions that they had gone off to try to find wives who had been sold to distant purchasers.

Slavery was still very much alive, and in some places even expanding, in the northern colonies of British North America in the generation before the American Revolution.  And slavery was always very brutal in the North.  It was not brutal in the south when slavery finally was sent there.  This is what Lincoln did not take into consideration when he tried to get the southern slaves to turn against their masters or former masters (most of the slaves were freed in the South BEFORE Lincoln ever invaded it.) and instead of attacking their former masters, the freed slaves (and the few who were still slaves)  stood with them in the Lincoln War.  This infuriated Lincoln.

In the North,  the slave could be, at any moment, and with no recourse, stripped, beaten, whipped, violated, and sold. That “could be” embraces all the evil of slavery.

In the south, slaves were usually treated like family with their masters and they did not want to leave.  Those that were freed, their former masters GAVE them land to have their own farms, and they lived as good neighbors and still helped each other with their farm work. When the Lincoln War hit them, they proudly  fought side by side against him and his Marxist Union that Lincoln was forcing the South to join.

In the North, blacks were forbidden from owning land.
The Northern states including all the way to Illinois, passed laws to keep out the freed black people from the south, and after the slaves were finally freed in the North, many years AFTER the Lincoln War, they did not want the black people there; they wanted the North to be a white north.  Lincoln wanted to ship all the blacks back to Africa.

Having set controls on their black residents, the Northern states busied themselves in passing laws to make sure no more blacks moved within their boundaries.

In the North, blacks were not allowed to be taught in the schools.
Segregation was always a Northern policy, whereas in the South, blacks and whites lived next to each other as good neighbors.
In the Lincoln War, the blacks forced to fight in Lincoln's War, had to be in their own units; the only way a black could be in a white unit is if he was the servant for that unit.

In the Southern armies, blacks and whites fought side by side and the blacks were some of the best soldiers in the war.  Everyone who fought for the South were volunteers; but Lincoln had to force the northern men to fight in his armies, even drafting them at gunpoint.  What most people do not realize is that over half of the Yankee people did not support Lincoln or his new Union and they did not want to fight in his armies.

This is why in the 1950's  the North DC Government began the Civil Rights wars in the south by putting out propaganda that the Southern (CSA) flags stood for slavery and the infiltrated  Yankees who were passing themselves off as Southrons, created race problems in the south so the south would look like THEY had the race problems.   In truth, the USA Federal flag is the only American flag that ever flew over the slave ships and slavery.  The Confederacy FORBADE their flags from flying over anything to do with slavery !   The North needed these race wars in the South to create the chaos in what they wanted in the South between the races.  They wanted to turn the blacks against the whites there, hoping enough time had passed so they would not know the truth; and with all the Federalized schooling they had been receiving with the invented 'history', the Southern children both black and white had been raised and indoctrinated to believe what the Federalists taught them.  It began to work, and with the help of some infiltrated blacks (King and Parks) who actually worked with the US Federal Government, everything went as planned and the designed race problems began.  It was all planned and set up.
The North wanted to break up the 'love fest' that the whites and blacks of the south always shared; the North wanted segregation in the south so they could indoctrinate both races as they wanted to and put restrictions and 'new laws' upon them in the south.  They needed to have segregation to do this; all part of the One World Government agenda.  They had to have chaos to get their agenda into play.  Result - the Civil Rights Wars and 'new laws'.  The South just lived in too much peace and the Federalists could not commence with their plans if this continued.  They are still doing this ploy today.  But since today no one knows TRUE history, their job is much easier, especially with their TV media to do all the mind-molding for them of the public.

The TV media is what tells us what to think, what to eat, what to do, what to believe.  They mold our minds as to what is acceptable and what is not.  They tell us what is good and what is bad.  They tell us what to wear, what to think of as truth or lies, at least the US Federal government's version of it.  WE are mind-molded and indoctrinated daily !  WE are bombarded 24/7 with Federal Government propaganda.
