Andres Galarraga Field

Andres Galarraga Field on the east end of Pueblo, Oct-2008.

Quick Facts:
The Colorado Rockies and their players have teamed up with communities to build ball fields. Each one is named for a player on the team. This one, in Pueblo, was named for Andres Galarraga. I spotted it as I came into town on Route 50.

The field appeared to be designed for players of about age 12-13. It features 70-foot baselines, a 50-foot pitching distance, and fences 220 to 260 feet from the plate.
