Warranties and General Policies
Limited Warranty
What does the CAR warranty cover?
This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship for each product
sold by CAR.
How long does the warranty coverage last?
The CAR limited warranty covers the product for as long as you, the original
purchaser, own the car.
The coverage lapses if you sell your car or otherwise transfer legal
ownership.
What will CAR do if I have a problem?
CAR will replace or adjust any defective item or refund the purchase amount
at our option.
What isn't covered?
The CAR warranty does not cover damage caused by faulty installation, abuse,
mishandling, accidents, or normal wear. Classic Auto Restoration Products
will not be responsible for labor charges, inconveniences, any other expenses,
and incidental or consequential damages caused by the product.
How does my state law apply?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights
which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply
to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES FOR MERCHANTIBILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTUCULAR PURPOSE.
All terms, policies, and warranties are as stated and will not be waived or altered except by written authorization from Classic Auto Restoration Products.
Shipping Policy
Continental United States
A 10% shipping and handling charge is added to each order. There is a $3.00
minimum and a $50.00 maximum charge for orders shipped via UPS Ground Service.
UPS Air Service and Federal Express are available at an additional
charge.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico
Orders are shipped by UPS Air or Federal Express. Additional charges
apply.
Foreign Shipments (including Canada)
A 5% foreign documentation charge ($3.00 minimum, $50.00 maximum) plus the
actual charges for Air or Surface are added to each order. Shipping charges
must be paid in advance. Please inquire as to estimated cost. The customer
is responsible for duties and taxes upon delivery of the product.
Exchanges or Returns
All returns or exchanges must be authorized by a Customer Service Representative
prior to returning the product.
All returned items must be returned postpaid.
All returned items must be unused and in resalable condition.

Payment Policy
If you pay by credit card, your card is charged just prior to shipping of
the product. Custom-made or special-order items are charged to your account
when the order is taken.
C.O.D.'s are cash only. The C.O.D. fee is $6.00.
Foreign orders must pay by MasterCard or Visa, or by a check in American dollars, payable on a New York bank. If a bank draft is preferred by customer, add $17.50 to cover our bank fee.
Sales Policy
All products provided by Classic Auto Restoration Products are new replacement
parts unless otherwise indicated. The products are either new old stock,
old stock replacement, or currently manufactured. No representations are
made that the products are fabricated or manufactured by the maker of the
vehicle for which they are supplied. Custom-made products are made from materials
to which we have access, and are not represented to be duplicate of original,
unless otherwise noted.
