Home Care products that are designed to work better than anything you have ever tried before.
Well-known consumer publications recommend against the use of aerosol air fresheners. You breathe in the tiny particles of the solution which not only irritate the tissues but also may damage the lung tissue. The user of an aerosol spray air freshener ends up inhaling a substantial portion of it, as the aerosol creates a misty cloud around the person spraying it. This can lead cause allergic reactions, or may lead to product sensitivity (an allergic reaction caused by reapeated exposure to a product).
Aromatherapy Ingredients in MeadowMist
Lavender
Native to Southern Europe and th Mediterranean, lavender
is now grown throughout Eruope and in parts of the United States. Lavender
oil, however, is still imported from Southern France and Spain, where it
is distilled from the upper part of the lavender plant and its early flowers.
Lavender oil is very costly to produced, as it take approximately one ton
of lavender plants to make about 20 pounds of lavender oil. Lavender possesses
a gentle balancing and normalizing effect, and its delicately sweet aroma
is familiar to almost everyone. It has been traditionally used to soothe
stress related conditions, and to promote general health throughout the
body. A crisp, clean, and classic scent, it has been used since the Middle
Ages to perfume home, linen, and baths, repelling insects as it fills the
rooms with its pleasant aroma.
Sandalwood
Essential Oil of the Sandal tree (an evergreen grown
primarily in India) has been used as a fine perfune and incense in India,
China and Egypt for over 4000 years. In has a deep woddy scent and blends
well with other botanical ingredients, particularly floral aromas. It is
often used to soothe nervousness and tension, and creates a warm, relaxed
ambiance when used as an air freshener. This aroma has a lasting quality,
and its honey-sweet balsamic smell is similar to musky scents derived from
glands of the male musk deer, carrying many of the same pleasing effects.
It is often prescribed as a strengthening scent and its gentle aroma is
a fine compliment to a romantic dinner.
Geranium
Only a few of the nearly 700 species of geranium are
grown for their oil, which is primarily produced in Egypt. Native to South
Africa, the geranium plant is now grown throughout the world, from North
and Central America to Japan, and from Russia to Great Britain. It is most
frequently cultivatd in gardens for its natural insect repelling properties
both for ornamental use and decorative uses. Geranium oil has a minty-sweet,
floral aroma and is frequently used in perfumes and home fragrances blending,
beautifully with a variety of other botanicals. It has a unique ability
of calming stress and anxiety while simultaneously arousing wakefulness
and helping to dispel fatigue and depression. Used as a room deodorizer
for hundreds of years, geranuim is also used as a refreshingly scented
insect repellent.
Chamomile
Possessing a fresh apple-sweet aroma and growing low
to the ground as groundcover, the Chamomile plant got its name from a Greek
word meaning "ground apples". The English have used this herb since the
Middle Ages, and it has woven its way into Shakespearian plays and well-loved
children's tales. Well recognized as one of the most soothing of all herbs,
its delicate fragrance has been used as a natural air freshener to dispel
unwanted odors, and to relax and lighten the atmosphere of court halls
and banquet rooms, doctors' offices and living rooms. It is often used
to reduce irritability and restlessness, soothe stress and tension, and
ease stress related headaches.
GUARDIAN
Guardian is a biocidal, disinfectant cleaner. Most disinfectant cleaners, such as the pine-solvent types, have very objectionable odors and, in reality, are extremely poor disinfectants. They do not have high kill rates and do not destroy a broad spectrum of microorganisms. In addition, they require a lengthy contact time to disinfect effectively, so spray and wipe applications are virtually ineffective. Guardian is an enormously powerful, broad-spectrum, fast-acting, very safe disinfectant cleaner. Guardian can be used in a variety of ways. It is safe on all surfaces and can be used as a spray-and-wipe, a mopping or washing solution, or as a soak. This versatility makes Guardian useful for the cleaning of bathrooms. It can be used in a carry-along sprayer to disinfect surfaces such as toilet seats, sinks, etc. It is a very effective product for use in disinfecting instruments used in salons such as combs, scissors, nippers, etc. Due to the concern over AIDS and other infectious diseases, it is excellent to spray and wipe down counter tops, chairs and the like. Guardian kills the HIV-1 virus (associated with AIDS) on inanimate objects. When used in rinse water for dishes, it effectively sanitizes, disinfects and protects against common infections such as flu, colds and other bacteria-and virus- caused illnesses. Soaking washcloths or dish rags will prevent the buildup of pseudomonas, a common cause of stomach flu and diarrhea. Pseudomonas causes the telltale odor in a dish rag and is very contagious.
USE: Use "as is" in a spray-and-wipe application. For mop water, add 2 oz. per gallon of water. In rinse water, use 1 ounce per gallon of water. For a sanitizing soak, use 2 oz. per gallon of water.

SPARKLE BATHROOM CLEANER
Conventional bathroom cleaners remove limited amounts of soap scum, but do nothing about water-scale buildup and many other types of contamination. Their ineffectiveness is especially seen on shower doors, toilet bowl rings, tile and faucets. Abrasive cleaners grind away some contamination but leave much and scratch the surface, dulling it and making it easier for hard water to attach. Soft scrubs are simple soaps and remove some greases and oils but are totally ineffective on mineral buildup. Sparkle is a revolutionary formulation that immediately cuts through soap scum and dissolves the crusty water-scale buildups. It rinses very free, leaving the beautiful, shiny surface without the residue or dulling that results from using abrasives. This formulation is virtually an all-in-one cleaner. It removes hard water, scale, soap scum, grease and oils while rinsing absolutely free. It is safe on all surfaces except high-gloss marble and some similar types of tile. A surface test is recommended on a small inconspicuous area of any glossy marble or tile to be cleaned to insure it does not dull the gloss.
USE: Simply squirt (do not spray) Sparkle on the surface to be cleaned and spread with a sponge or plastic scrubber pad. Let sit sixty seconds and agitate by wiping back and forth and in circular motion to slough off the dissolved material and allow the cleaner to contact deeper contamination. When finished, flush off with water and dry.
