Dallas and its outlying areas are home to a wealth of musical talent. Listed on this site are the bands that play regularly at the North Texas Traditional Dance Society’s contra dances. Some bands invite guest musicians to sit in, and in many cases there will be a mixture of the bands listed herein on any given Saturday night.

The variety of musical styles ranges from New England to Southern, from Old Time to Cotton Avenue and many places in between. Keep an eye on our site and see new bands appear and old bands reappear.
