ESSAY ON STEROIDS
Dear
Friends,
I
am somewhat disappointed in you in various ways. I won’t command you not to use steroids; I
will simply inform you on what I know about them. (I am assuming you are ignorant to the many
facts about these “body builders”.)
First
off, I want to see things in your point of view before I tell you how horrible
your life could get. I understand that
you would like to use them to build an excessive amount of muscle. This may feel and look good in the beginning,
but when you realize the changes it has in store for you and your body, you
will wish you never even considered it.
At
the start, you’ll like the way things look.
Everyone will compliment your masculinity. However, as time progresses,
people will notice mood swings from you.
Most people can’t tell only by looking at you (at least not when you
just start steroids) that overtime your facial bones will expand or enlarge
which is very unhealthy. The thickening
of the neck and head is almost unreal!
Besides,
if you get caught – you’re done for! I
don’t mean to scare you. I know it’s
harsh, but it’s true. Steroids are
illegal. I’m not sure how much trouble
that it would put you in (because I’ve never taken steroids), but I’m sure it’s
enough to drag you into court.
I
hope you think about this. I’m not
against you. I’m against what you’re
going to do. I just want to help in
every way that I can.
A
sincerely concerned friend,
Diana
