We welcome your story problems and support.

If you have a good 'real life' problem that a 'K' thru '5' grade level student might enjoy, please E-mail the Math Program Chairman. If your problem is lengthy, one of the Teachers may use it as a class problem to be worked on in a group or over several days.

The Renton School District has incorporated a new math curriculum with more emphasis on real world math. Please see the 'New Math' page for more information about this program. For information on RSD's upper grades math curriculum guide, click here.

Did you know that the PTA organization is a SEPARATE entity from the school that it supports?

PTAs must raise their own funds, run their own programs, AND keep their finances completely separate from the school. Schools and PTAs are most efficient when they coordinate their resources and capabilities.

The Renton Park Elementary PTA and Renton Park Elementary Staff work closely together to squeeze the most out of every dollar and Staff or volunteer hour for their students, our children. The PTA focuses on programs that are academically oriented (like this Math Program) and these programs are enthusiastically supported by the Renton Park Elementary Staff.

Last, but not least, Renton Park Elementary PTA 9.11.65 is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are deductible to the full extent of the law.
