It is an eight packet program, beginning January 24, to encourage students to practice and use MATH! Participants receive a MATH Packet each week full of fun and challenging MATH problems! Students earn “Rocket Bucks" (NOT actual dollars) for: packets turned in on time, for parent participation (Yes, parents are ENCOURAGED to help!), for correct answers and effort, and best of all, for making up original math problems. There will be a one week break after the 4th packet to give you (and us!) a rest and to recognize all of the participants. Our Math store will be open at the end of the program where you can use your 'banked' Rocket Buck earnings to buy awards. The store inventory will be in the display case in the Lobby.

1) Turn in weekly packet -- $2
2a) Turn in weekly packet on time (by following Monday) -- $2
2b) Turn in one week late (2nd Monday) -- $1 ($0 after 2 weeks)
3) Answering problems in the 'Mixed Bag' and 'Basic Skills' sections 
(does not include any 'Bonus' Problems) (maximum of $3)

4) Submit own problem and answer (We supply a theme) 
----- a. Younger levels (writing is much harder for the younger story tellers) -- $2

5) Completing 'Quest Problem(s)', including explanation section

7) Parent signature indicating parent or adult helped, watched, interacted, etc. -- $1
