"Iravati" contains more songs previously available only on CD singles or Anime albums, along with some brand new songs as well ( some of which she wrote herself ). Much like her previous album, bertemu, I liked every track on this album the more I listened to it. This album edges even closer to J-pop and further away a bit from regular Anime music than Enfleurage. The re-mixes are particularly interesting, especially if you're more familiar with the original version. I was a bit disappointed when I first found out that one of my favorite songs, "I'll be there", was re-done as a ballad. I love the original version and was hoping for a more techno-type version ( been listening to too much techno I guess ) but after hearing the first few notes of the ballad version I immediately changed my view. It seems to me that Megumi-san's singing has improved quite a bit as well! Either that or the producers did a hell of a job with this album....

Unlike my other Hayashibara albums, this copy of mine is a first pressing / release. The album came with a photo booklet, along with a cardboard box to contain both jewel case and booklet. Some pretty stylish photos in here, with the scenery centering mostly in a forest and on a beach. Overall, I have to say that this is one of her best albums yet and de-thrones bertemu as my top pick. Personally, the only way this could've been a better album is if they had included the remix version of "Give a reason" from the Slayers Next Sound Bible I ( one of my favorite Hayashibara songs ) or maybe included the song Gloria from the "Reflection" CD-Single.... Oh, well. Maybe on the next best album....
