Following two years of intensive effort in both building the specially modified Oerlikon gun lathe shown here, and conducting the regulatory procedures required under the supervision of the American Bureau of Shipping, Everett Engineering, Inc., is pleased to announce it is fully certified to conduct both carbon steel and stainless propeller shaft weld repair. Everett Engineering is also authorized to custom-manufacture ship shafts to the most demanding commercial marine and naval requirements.
The control system for our automated wirefeed welding array was designed and built in-shop by our skilled team of control technicians for repairing scoured, gouged and cracked shafts. Our capabilities for straightening bent shafts is also unique to our facility.
