The boilers we offer are fabricated by Everett Engineering and are to ASME power boiler code, certified by the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company. Additional details on each boiler may be obtained by selecting the underlined model name. This will open another "window". To return to this page, simply close the "window". The descriptive page is sized to print out at 8-1/2" x 11" for your convenience. Vertical Fire Tube - 55 sq.ft. Plenty of power yet only 20" in diameter and 42" high. Rated to produce 280 pounds of steam per hour at a maximum working pressure of 200 psi, this small general service boiler may be fired by wood, coal, oil, or propane. Adequate sized firebox and ashpit doors give access to the 17-1/4" dia. x 14" tall water walled firbox. The 84 firetubes of 1-1/4" dia. provide a generous heating surface. Suitable for hobby steamboats as well as stationary, farm, and home electric generating installations. Horizontal Fire Tube - 100 sq.ft. For the steamboat traditionalist here is a Clyde (dryback "Scotch") boiler. Only 40" in diameter by 62" long, it has a 14" dia. furnace and packs a whopping 100 sq.ft. of heating surface. Water Tube - 100 sq.ft. The fast steaming qualities of a water tube boiler with a spacious firebox are incorporated in this B & W style box header, cross drum boiler of 100 sq.ft. heating surface. The box headers are so constructed that there is easy access to the individual rolled-in water tubes for replacement purposes.
