We currently offer our tried and true workhorse; a robust, hardworking 3" + 6" x 4" Steeple (Tandem Vertical) Compound Engine. This engine has given over 15 years of service in our own boat - including being "sunk" twice - yet has never missed a beat. It will handle steam pressures up to 250psi and has turned up to 750rpm. The engine is so well balanced that even at these high rpms it did not "walk", despite not being secured to the workbench! Looking at the photograph and specifications below, you can readily see that it is heavily built and can take almost any amount of abuse. The engine is supplied fully tested and ready to run - you need only "lag" the blocks and paint it your desired color!
