Tampa Bay Retreat – About Us

When you rent one of our Tampa Bay Retreat homes, you are renting from the actual owners of the property.  Rick (husband), Lisa (wife), Ranell (mother), and Suzie (friend), are the people that you will communicate with, and deal with, from start to finish.  We are not a faceless management company that does not care about your vacation and your comfort.  Instead, we are very concerned with your enjoyment of our homes.  You can always be assured that we take great pride in decorating and maintaining the properties that will be your “home” while you vacation in the Clearwater area. 

Tampa Bay Retreat started in 1999 with one private pool home located in Dunedin Florida.  Our guests seemed to love the home and commented often about how clean and nice it was and how much better their vacation was because they had stayed at our private home rather than a tiny hotel.

We knew we were onto something.  Why should people rent tiny motel rooms or small condominiums when they could get a full size private pool home for about the same cost? 

Since 1999, we have purchased 3 additional homes.  We have learned many things along the way and believe that we run a very professional vacation rental home business.  We try very hard to accommodate our guests and their schedules.  We make it easy to check-in and check-out.  Our paperwork process is simple and we try to make all of our guests comfortable while they are vacationing with us.  We do not have any extra cleaning costs and do not require you to plan your vacations around a Saturday to Saturday stay. 

We are nearing our 6^th anniversary in business and have recently accommodated our 300^th guest.  Many local people have tried to duplicate our success, but cannot match our experience and pride of ownership.  Any fears you may having with making your vacation reservations across the internet should be put to rest when dealing with Tampa Bay Retreat.  Tampa Bay Retreat is a member of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce and follows all Florida Housing Laws. 

Our homes are truly set up to be a "Home Away From Home" for our guests.  When you stay with us, you are a “Guest”, not a “Customer”.  Imagine arriving at your fully furnished private home equipped with just about everything you would ever need while you vacation in the Clearwater area.  Just bring your personal belongings and you are ready to relax and visit the many area attractions and beautiful beaches.  We have many guests that return year after year and have made this area of Florida their annual vacation spot as a result of staying at one of our lovely, well-maintained accommodations.  We love how the homes make our guests feel and how the homes make their vacation just a little bit better.
