All jaws pictured here have real fossilized teeth. |
The jaw is sculpted and cast in polyester resin which is
then coated with fiberglass layers.
Once this process is complete, a light black tinted
shadowing is sprayed onto the jaw itself.
Each jaw has four rows of teeth.
Either real fossil specimens or reproduced teeth
or a combination of both can be used.
If
a cast jaw is ordered each tooth is cast separately so that any one
can be replaced if needed without reconstructing the entire jaw.
