...to the official web site of Rescue Co.23. Located 11 miles North of Seattle in Washington state, Fire District 1 serves a population of 120,000 people from 6 fire stations. Responding to fire, medic, aid and rescue calls we answered over 9,000 alarms in 1998.

Rescue Co.23 operates from Engine 23 out of our Lake Serene fire station. Staffed 24 hours a day by the proffesional firefighters of IAFF Local 1997 our technical rescue team is responsible for high and low angle rope rescue, confined space, trench, ice and surface water rescue as well as all of their normal firefighting and medical aid duties.
