Dan Barnhardt's Eaton's Road King (Jawa
250) Here's another example of the Eatons Road King, the Jawa 250 Roadster as sold by the Eatons department store chain in Canada. Dan's from Kimberely BC, Canada. Thanks for these great before and after shots of you Road King Dan! Hi I see you are looking for pictures of Jawa Road Bikes would you like a picture of my 250cc Eaton's Road king before and after restoration? I have 2 other Jawa Road bikes, and 1 CZ 125 Road bike the other two are 350 cc Jawa Eaton's model's. |
Rob Leek's Italajet 350cc Here's Rob's very original 350 Italajet. This shot gives one a good idea of the original paint sceam of these bikes. Here's what Rob wrote about his bikes. "I own an Italjet 350 twin which uses a Jawa 350 engine. Ik have one complete, and another in parts. They are from 1968. It looks as if this model is only intended for Holland, because there were always lots of Jawas sold here what would be handy when servicing an Italjet-Jawa. By the way, when writing this, is remember my first motorcycle, a CZ 125 or 175. How the hell dit you have to start these things?! How could I know that one lever had two or more funcions? Have fun, Rob Leek" |
| Erwin Derksen's Czech & Czech Powered Roadsters I head from Erwin Derksen last July. Erwin is in The Netherlands and has a wonderful collection of Czech roadsters which he has sent me pictures of. I'm sorry I have not posted these sooner Erwin. Here's what Erwin wrote about his motorcycles and specifically about his Italjet 350 Jawa powered bike. "I'm Erwin Derksen form the Netherlands and also mad from Jawa, CZ and Italjet-Jawa. It's nice to see that you also been very interested in those bikes. I've got a few Jawa, CZ and 1 Italjet Jawa." "The Italjet-Jawa is build and sold in 1968, Italjet made only the frame and buy the engine's (type 360) by Jawa. It wasn't a big success because it has 21 HP and the Jawa Californian which was come 1 year later (1969) had 23 HP and was $150,-- cheaper so the most of the people buy the Californian. The suspension front and rear from the Italjet-Jawa are from Marzocchi, the same front suspension Ducati used for them 250 and 350 bikes, the brakes are from Grimeca." "I didn't restore this bike I bought it last year in this condition, it only takes 4 years to buy it from the last owner. Not original is the front and rear suspension, the front mudguard and the painting, the painting should be silver metallic with red stripes. I drive on it by good weather to meetings and my work or just for fun, because I don't have those bikes for put them in the garage, I like to show them to people who likes old bikes also." Much thanks to Erwin for these great pictures. Erwin also sent a scan of an original Italjet Jawa flyer which you can see by clicking the link below. |
