These are dogs (several shown working), often, the first of their breed to accomplish a milestone for the breed.  A couple are historically significant.

Championship are earned, taking the unification of several plains of human development. With the addition of the canine partner it also takes an evaluation of both human and canine, and the third ingredient their team work

The fourth ingredient is  measuring (that mentioned above) against a subjective standard developed by others, measured by others. These "others" where seldom those teams peers because very few had reached the credential of Herding Champion..
