Herding Championships are earned, not given.
There is a lot more to herding than just working your dog.
A dog with herding instinct and no training can make enough work for nine men to do. A trained herding dog can do the work of nine men. You need to decide which you would rather live with.

Meditations:

If every day you work hard to teach your dog to walk on water, and then one day, after much work, he does so, do not be surprised or upset when other people say that he does this, only because he is afraid of being in the water.

It is not really work because you like what you do.
