Alta Loma High School is a comprehensive high school of approximately 2853 students in grades nine through twelve. It is one of seven high schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and works closely with three elementary feeder districts which make up its community. The school has served the District and community for 32 years.
Quality academic, elective and vocational programs provide a selection of career pathways designed to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
Alta Loma may be described as having a traditional student body. Large numbers of students go out for sports, try out for pep squad, buy yearbooks and go to the prom. Of last year's seniors, 81 percent said their immediate plans were to go to college. Thirty-three percent planned to go to a four-year college and 48 percent indicated they would enter a two-year college.
