Chaffey High School, located in the city of Ontario, is one of six comprehensive schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. The enrollment is approximately 3,200 students in grades 9-12.
Founded in 1911 and rebuilt from 1933 to 1939, the 65-acre Chaffey campus has undergone reconstruction of many buildings, financed by the state's school modernization program. Chaffey is the home of Gardiner Spring Auditorium, now a regional performing arts center.
Academics are important at Chaffey High School. The full spectrum of academic courses is complemented by a wide range of co-curricular activities. The athletic program at Chaffey involves more than 600 students and 38 coaches in ten boys' sports and eight girls' sports.
