In windows XP, the sfc is kind of hidden; to run it go to start> run> type cmd. In the box that comes up type sfc/scannow - You will need to have the windows XP disk in the cd drive. Note: that the CD has to be in the Master CD drive.

Something neat and handy and you don't need a third party piece of software .. This is for Win XP!! "This article explains how to add the print directory feature, and how to enable printing of the directory listing from within Windows Explorer."
