Bad tactics
What would you do if you got this? I checked his FB and he has been
negged for this before.
"Hey I will give you 17.50 plus any shipping and handling charges for
your snackmaster food dehydrator if you end the auction now, or you can
gamble and see if you get more than that but you might end up getting
the 13.50 that I have bid on it now. If you do want to take this offer
then end the auction and I will send out money order RIGHT AWAY on 3-8
first thing when I get up. If not then it is your choice...FYI I only bid
15.00 so if that is surpassed by someone that bid 15.01 then you do not
get the 17.50....So think it over, remember I pay shipping and it was a
gift so you have pretty much nothing to loose!
Thanks for reading, David
Only offer if auction is not stopped by
10:00AM PST then let it ride I will not want to take this offer anymore."

I guess it depends on how you feel today. Clearly he has violated the
"no spam" rule. I think he's trying to take advantage of eBay. I'd
report him to eBay for rule violation. It would be one thing, perhaps,
if he was leaving the country very soon and desperately needed the food
dehydrator so he could live in some remote area of the globe...but that
obviously isn't the case here. He's playing games. I'd nuke him.
In fact, the more I read his email, the more I want you to report him!
Besides the "no spam" stuff, he is just doing his best to subvert the
auction process. He's tempting you, as a seller, to also go against the
spirit of eBay and end auctions early. I think the whole thing stinks.
If it were once.. perhaps. But I wonder if this is his whole modus
operandi here...and we can't have that.
He let the auction run and got more than $25 for the item.
