 | Lieutenant Russell Max Baldwin
Lieutenant Baldwin was shot and killed after stopping a man who had just robbed a grocery store of $240. During the traffic stop both men exited their vehicles, the suspect produced a gun and shot Lieutenant Baldwin in the chest. The suspect was arrested and sentenced to life in prison.
Lieutenant Baldwin was survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
