Officer Sylvester " Doc" Blair

Officer Blair was on patrol making his morning checks of the Lawrenceburg City Schools when he was fatally stricken. He then drove off of Arch St onto US 50. His car went out of control and struck a guard rail. Officer Blair died at the scene. The cause of death was ruled a heart attack. Officer Blair, 35, served with the department for 5 1/2 years prior to his death.
