Officer Edenfield was attempting to remove an intoxicated subject from a
concert when the subject started to resist. The subject broke free of Officer Edenfield
and a foot chase began. Officer Edenfield was able to catch the subject and a second
physical struggle began. Officer Edenfield was able to restrain the subject until
help arrived. Officer Edenfield later died at a local hospital of a heart failure.
The subject was charged with the death of Officer Edenfield.
