"HEARTACHE AND HEARTBREAK, FAMILY LETTERS 1918-1931", compiled by Judith Allison Walters, 2000. There are 205 pages including 119 letters and 93 photographs from the same time period, as well as a few maps, two poems, a genealogical chart, and an eight page list of places and people so that one can determine the identity of those being written about. Most of the letters, but not all, were written by Mary Ann Kittrell (Scruggs) Johnson (1840-1931).
