Hello and welcome to my  homepage. I'd like to share a couple of my hobbies with you. I  generally spend my winters chasing DX on 160 meters and my  summers
chasing Ol'  Bigmouth.

The K5QY TV Blanker

So far I've managed  to snag enough DX to make #1 Honor Roll and earn 5BDXCC.  Incidentally, I was the first amateur to work H40AA. I've also  worked 6BWAS and 5BDXCC. I'm now working to confirm 100 countries on 160 meters for 6BDXCC.  My station consists of a Yeasu FT-1000MP  transceiver driving an Ameritron AL-1200  amplifier.

My lowband antennas are three HyGain hytower verticals. The outside two  hytowers are centerloaded on 160 meters and phased with quarterwave spacing. The center hytower operates on 80 and 40 meters.

The neighbors love it!

I've been largemouth bass fishing for 19 years. For years I've fished bass tournaments, but these days I spend most of my time just fishing local lakes. I've used Ranger boats since 1993 and my present bassboat is 2004 Ranger 195 VS powered by a 200 HP Yamaha.

Ranger Boats...ahhhhh

Over the years fishing has been good; although I've still not caught that 10  pound bass, I've sure caught a lot of 7 to 9 pounders.

Something is fishy...
