BARBARA MURPHY
Writer/Partner Barbara Murphy earned her undergraduate degree in Theology
from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Barbara was awarded the
distinction of top scholar in the Theology Department and graduated summa cum
laude. She is currently pursuing studies in Theology and Biblical Scholarship at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Visit her most recent project at

Currently in progress are two
novels of historical fiction. Murphy also has an impressive background as an independent businesswoman.
Owner of her own retail business in 1986, her love of music lead her to
take a position as chief financial officer of a Boston-based music and audio production
facility. Her responsibilities included managing accounts for a wide range of clients,
including Polaroid, Digital,
Hill Holiday Advertising, Cole and Company, Houghton Mifflin Publishing and television
stations WBZ and WGBH, all studio booking and talent payments and managing the marketing
campaigns for the studio.
In 1988, she became a CO-owner in a small independent label in Boston where she was responsible for
advertising, booking and all media buying and enjoyed a top ten local
hit in the summer of 1988 with the song LOOKIN' FOR LOVE by local Boston band Bridge.
In 1990, she continued back on a full time path as a writer and moved to London,
England to concentrate on a new project. In 1991 Murphy became CO-owner of Titusville
Publishing, an independent publishing company dedicated to publishing the best in music,
art and literature.
