BISCUITS:
Ingredients:
4 Cups plus 2 Tbsp.(454 gm) dp Wheat Starch (or Loprofin)
8 Tbsp. Margarine
1 Tbsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
2 oz Rich's Richwhip Non-Dairy Liquid
Directions:
Sift the baking powder and baking soda with the wheat starch.
Cut in the margarine.
Make a well in the center of the flour and add the Rich's non-dairy topping.
Fold together until you get a nice dough. Add water as needed if the dough does not come together.
Roll out and cut biscuits.
Place on an greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown.
Makes 10 biscuits.

Chef's Tip:
2 To make a nice splitable biscuit,roll dough thinner and fold in half. Cut biscuits and bake as above. This recipe may be used for dumplings or as a topping for Shepherd's pie.
