A great outing, making up for yesterday's trip. Your webmaster has been told that video was taken of some of the action during this trip, and as soon as it's in my possession my priority will be to get it uploaded on our website for our friends to view.
(Wednesday, July 2, 2008) Well, let's see...where should I begin......Very rough crossing to Catalina last nite, producing substantial discomfort for your webmaster/videographer, who is, apparently, better suited at accepting and consuming fish caught by Allyn and the Dreamer crew than in actually going out on the boat to catch fish himself. Once we arrived at the Island, unfavorable water conditions made it difficult for the six anglers on the charter to land more than one yellowtail and a few dozen calico bass (along with some sargo). As for the video, it is in the editing room, and if it ends up looking like your webmaster felt throughout the trip, is unlikely to ever see the light of day.
(Tuesday, July 1, 2008) Your webmaster will be joining the crew and anglers aboard DREAMER tonite as we head to Catalina for another overnight trip - this time out a video will record the action for posting on this website in the days ahead. Further updates on our film production effort will appear here tomorrow!
