June 7, 1999 Well it's been almost three years since our wedding. A lot has happened since then. We hope that this Web page will help us keep in touch with everyone and give you updates on our life occurrences as they happen. Maybe this way the miles between us won't seem so many. Love to all, Sara and Steve PS-we'll even be sending pictures of the belly getting bigger and bigger. It's maternity clothes from here on out, no more button up jeans. ********************************************* June 23, 1999 Progress report on the house: Trying to get the downstairs ready for the drywall to be put up. We have put all the lights in and framed the walls and ceilings. Once we get the drywall done, then the kitchen cabinets and appliances will be next. We can't wait until we don't have to carry the groceries up the stairs. Progress report on the baby: went to the doctor on the June 16th. Doctor said weight looks good, blood pressure looks good and baby's heartbeat sounded great. The sonogram appointment is set for July 22 to find out what we are having. We'll keep you posted. Progress report on Mikasa: took him to the vet last weekend for his annual shots. It took the vet and her assistant to hold him down. It only takes one of them to handle the dogs that go into her office. Everyone in the lobby was afraid of our cat. He does have an attitude. Well that's it for now. Talk to you soon. Then that is all we will say for now. Talk with you soon. (Only two more weeks until the Sonogram.) ************************** July 22, 1999 It's a girl!!! May have insulted the sonogram woman when I asked her how sure was she. She replied with "I've been doing this for 8 years and have only missed two. And those two I questioned. I'm not questioning yours" So far our number one choice for a girl's name is Kira Jade Miller. Kira didn't want to move around for the sonogram so we could get better views. Steve said she's stubborn like her mother. ************************** July 27, 1999 My weight is 142 lbs. I have gained 17 lbs so far. Dr. Alvarez says that according to the sonogram my due date is still set for Nov. 21; but I think it will be Thanksgiving. He said that the baby looks great. Well time to start on the baby's room. I'm thinking of classic pooh for the theme. Until next time. Sara _________________________________ September 20, 1999 I'm at week 31 and I see the a new doctor every two weeks so I can be acquainted with whoever is on call when (the baby) Kira decides to be born. Baby's room: Has a rocking chair (a gift from Ginny, Grammy and Jerry, Grampa) and a crib (a gift from Dad, Grampa and Brice). The closet if full with clothes, already. (all gifts) We are so very thankful. House: Appliances were delivered this past Sunday and the new kitchen cabinets should arrive in two weeks. Steve is working so hard to have the house finished before the baby gets here.
