* What is a "bygdebok"? Bygdeboks take one farm and find every person that has lived on that farm. From that information a book is written and called a "bygdebok". If you know the farm name where your family came from, it is very possible that you will find your ancestors in that book. Since these books consist of mostly names, they are not hard to read even for Non Norwegian speaking people.
