Design and Consulting Services

• Acoustics and noise control design and consulting as part of a design team with architects, civil and structural engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, and interior designers, where acoustics and noise and vibration control specifications are to be incorporated into the overall design drawings and documents or the provision of "stand alone" acoustic design and noise control drawings and documentation.

• Acoustic and audio consulting for re-design, modification and renovation of existing facilities. This includes testing and report of existing acoustics, noise control, and audio-visual equipment, and making recommendations, drawings, plans and documentation for renovation or modification of the facilities.

• Turnkey design and consultation for certain new facilities that may be interior construction in an existing building or housed in a dedicated building: radio and television stations, recording studios, video and film production facilities, acoustic testing facilities, etc. Turnkey design includes all necessary plans, drawings, sections and tender/bidding specifications and documentation for construction, mechanical and electrical services, interior finishes and detailing, and audio-visual equipment supply and installation.

• Computerized 3-dimensional acoustic modeling for proposed concert halls, auditoriums, theaters, churches, and any other acoustic spaces that require complete and detailed prediction of the acoustic listening parameters giving our clients additional confidence in the shape and surface finishing in preliminary design stages. The Initial Time Delay gap for reflected sound from every surface can be calculated and full time-delay spectrometry can be plotted for any listening position in an auditorium.

• Design and consultation for audio-visual systems and their configuration. We provide complete sound reinforcement system design including computer modeling of the proposed loudspeakers in the acoustic space. We provide all system wiring diagrams, configuration drawings and design documentation and specifications for contractors to tender/bid and install audio-visual systems.

• Design and consultation for stage lighting systems incuding electrical wiring drawings and diagrams, utility company disconnects, racks, control systems (DMX and Ethernet), catwalks, fixtures, consoles, etc. Bidding documents and specifications can be prepared for contractors to undertake the supply and installation

• Design and consultation for stage rigging systems including building structural requirements, beam loading specifications, loading galleries, fly galleries, gridiron, headblocks, battens, arbors, tracks, drapery, cycloramas, curtains, etc. All necessary documentation for bidding and supply and installation are available.

• We provide acoustic test and measurements for all types of existing facilities. We also provide noise level testing, noise surveying, and equipment noise level commissioning tests. We provide precise and reliable reports for completed projects as independent consultants. We also provide acoustic criteria and noise level predictions for projects in proposal stage.

• Consulting for noise and vibration control for industrial or commercial applications where noise must be controlled for environmental purposes or as per the OSHA requirements.

• We provide expert testimony in noise abatement and annoyance cases where reliable acoustic data and witness may be required in pursuit of liability or other legal situations.
