Temecula and San Diego County. This area is just 90 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 60 miles north of San Diego. Take Rancho California Road exit off I-15 to wineries. With rolling hills covered with vineyards, the Temecula Valley gets ocean breezes through a gap in the coastal mountains that produces a unique micro-climate for producing some quality wines. These wineries are producing a variety of red and white wines.
