A note to Publishers:

The Essential Library for the Digital Economy helps busy practitioners keep up with the essential readings in the fields of emerging technology and e-business. It is used by CEO's, CIO's, IS Managers, Business Analysts, trainers, and IS Developers. The Library is linked within the Object Management Group and other Internet resources heavily used by practitioners. The Library is a work-in-progress and provides users with the opportunity to offer suggestions, favorite titles, and reviews.

Why was the library created? According to Peter Fingar who maintains the site, " I did not set out to create this web site. My books, Enterprise E-Commerce and The Blueprint for Business Objects, contain extensive annotated bibliographies for both business and technical people. The bibliographies turned out to be very popular, and I was constantly being asked for book recommendations. So I converted the bibliographies into a web site and expanded the titles to include recent and soon-to-be published books." The Library has been growing ever since 1996 and the number of visits to the site continues to increase.

In addition to Peter's reviews, other practitioners known for their business and technical expertise review and comment about the books. It is this editorial context which makes the book lists so valuable.

Please send review copies of your new books as they become available, and if possible, please notify us of forthcoming titles so we can give our readers a "heads-up" … and prime them for your new titles.

To be comprehensive, we may have listed some of your titles even though we have not received a review copy. These listings appear without any annotation. Please review the categories and send review copies of those titles you would like us to annotate / review.

Review copies should be shipped to:
