Thank you for stopping by!

Let me tell you why this silly web site is here

It is a free for all on the web!

What is going on with the web? Dose anybody really know? Things are happening so fast that we will have to change our customs to adapt to the new changes that are being brought about by the ever-expanding web. Where else can an ordinary person, be brought to anybody around the world with access to the web?

Education is the sole reason for this web site.

Television and the web:

It seems that as quickly as one-thing changes when it comes to Television, new technology is replacing our already new technology. Remind you of your computer? What you see in computers today, you will see in television sets of the not so distant future. When Television goes digital, you will also be buying it with the same things in mind as when you buy your computer components. Multiple "windows" on the screen will also be commonplace, interactive shows will invade our air-waves, and we will able to view stations from around the world. Did I mention that this might also happen to radio? Say bye-bye to the ways we are used to, and hello to the new and improved!

If we are to see these changes take effect, one thing will have to be developed further, the web. As the web increases in size and efficiency it will be brought into our living rooms and dens. This is being done with Web-TV right now. Though not as convenient as a computer, I believe that Web-TV will, as all technology goes, become a fast and efficient service like the cable TV of today. This will give the average person access to millions of stations instead of hundred or so channels we receive today. Yes, most of the stations will be in written format, but there will be also thousands of stations with video and audio and I think it will rival today's technology in quality of picture and sound.

The computer will become the "studio" of tomorrow!

And in your car, you will be listing to Radio Moscow (if you want to) or one of the hundred thousand or so other choices all brought to you via cellular phone technology. Right now the phone, cable, and satellite companies are battling for the new world standard we will look to for our entertainment and communication needs.

I think either I learn now or try to catch up later. Did I mention billing needs? How about banking? Yes, banking and investing! I would not be surprised if in the near future I needed a web site just to function in society: shopping, paying bills, etc. Could you imagine using a URL address for identification right there on your drivers license? On your web site, we may find all the information that makes up you. Finding lost friends would have never been easier, as we all become part of the big machine. May sound scary, may sound cool, but the truth is the future is already here and the web is here to stay. So I figure, I better start learning.

Today I learn, tomorrow who knows?
