Here is an interior view of my 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. Here are the things you can see from this view that differ from stock:
Black door panel inserts. I removed the inserts and had them recovered in black vinyl instead of the stock gray. I think it really ties the gray/black scheme together.
Black floormats. After I
bought these universal floormats for $30 I came across a place online
that sells floormats cut to the shape of the original mats for $20 (front
set only). I couldn't find the receipt for the ones I had just bought
- so I will be keeping them.
Buy the Mustang specific ones if you can, the universal ones are too large
for the floor area, and the passenger side tends to bunch up. I might
buy a set with the Pony logo to use when I go to the mustang show - but
those tend to run $60! I think that is a little too high a price for something
you put your shoes on!
