A NW Washington free support group for Grandparent raising Grandchildren.

Grandparents across the Country are becoming Parents again.


5 percent of American families are grandparent/grandchild families.

4 million children live in a household headed by grandparents.

10 percent of all grandparents are raising grandchildren.

Are you raising your grandkids?   You are not alone.

There are many reasons Grandparents are raising their grandchildren; addictions, incarceration, death, abandonment those list are endless and we all have our own stories.

In viewing these pages our hope is we may be able to pass on some helpful information during these confusing, heart breaking times. Our group is local but the need for information and support is universal.
