CRH Industries LIC.

CRH Industries was established in 631SF to compete with the growing power of the MegaCorps. CRH stands for Chunesti Electronics LIC, Raagamarmuus Vehicles , and Hensley Heavy Industries Inc. These 3 companies merged to reduce overhead and concentrate resources in an attempt to compete with the major corps and megacorps.

Chunesti Electronics LIC specializes in starship systems, primarily electronics, sensors, and communications. They have minor exposure to the enterainment equipment, computers, and robotics. Chunesti is headquartered on Zimiin, Core 2115. Chunesti was founded in 37SF.

Raagamarmuus Vehicles specializes in civilian and military (light) vehicles, orbital craft, and satelites. Raagamarmuus Vehicles predates the 1st Imperium. Raagamarmuus Vehicles is headquartered on Sylea.

Hensley Heavy Industries specializes in heavy construction, construction vehicles, and heavy military vehicles. HHI has minor interests in mining, metals production, and starship hull components. HHI dates to pre-spaceflight Terra. Headquartered on Kuunen Ish, Core 2318.

CRH Industries has also aquired Murish Arms LIC and Karem Shipyards. These aquisitions have increased CRH Industries capibilities. Karem Shipyards was renamed CRH Shipyard #1, and became part of CRH Engineering.

CRH Industries now specializes in Starship design, components, and construction, civilian and military vehicles, civilian and military weapons. Mining and raw materials production is now for internal use only.

Raagamarmuus Vehicles was actually established by Sharurshid about the time of the discovery of Sylea. The AAB has no information on Hensley Heavy Industries prior to the end of the Rule of Man. Murish Arms LIC and Karem Shipyards were both bankrupt and it hard to believe that these aquisitions helped CRH Industries. Early setbacks include; failure to achieve good contract for power plants from Zhanastu Industries LIC, loss of mining contracts to Ling Standard Products and Sternmetal on newly incorperated worlds.

Further setbacks:
Aquiring Navy Starship Upgrade contract in 590. This contract was extended indefinently upon news of the 1st Frontier War and was closed out in 650 after the end of the Civil War. Although this brought money into the company, it prevented new ship construction, and thus a loss of market. It took decades to reestablish a significant market presence.
5th Frontier War: This was was particularly hard on CRH Industries. The only major civilian casualty of the Battle of Rhylanor was the CRH Industries Shipyards in the Rhylanor belt which was totally destroyed. This was CRH's main shipyard in the Spinward Marches. Other CRH shipyards were also affected by this war. Shipyards in Jewel, Lanth, and Lunion were raided and damaged during the war.
