TL 10 communicator is easily noticable due to bulk and location caused by battery size, and is sometimes disguised as jewelry. TL 12 communicator is psuedo skin covered, is only noticable to close inspection at less than 4 m. TL 13+ communicators are only noticable at very close inspection.
