Many people make scrapbooks of their lives to preserve
memories of important events.
In some ways, this is a fairly recent hobby. Historians often have
trouble discovering information about people of long ago who made important
contributions to society.
|
-
Your task as a group of three history reporters is
to research the life of an important classical composer of your choice.
You will then build/create a total of 4 scrapbook pages depicting important
pieces of information about them.
|
-
Below you will find a list of recommended composers.
However, if you don't see one you've heard of,
some see me and we'll discuss it. Each of you will be responsible
for one part of your composer's scrapbook and you will all work together
on the title page.
|
-
Each group's pages should follow the same basic format
because they will all be linked into one "book." You will research
by finding information about your composer on the internet and the encyclopedia
CD-ROM, and by using books and other resources I will have available for
you. In addition to the written information you include, each page
will have either a map, a graphic image of your composer or an audio clip.
