Classical Composer's Archive--At this site click on the first letter of your composers last name on the alphabet at the top of the page.  Then find your composer in the list.

Study Web -- At this web site you will have to link to the first letter of the last name of your composer and see what other links are listed.

The Classical Composers Database has birth and death dates for a lot of composers and links to other pages about many of them.

The Classical Music Pages composer pages had good information and pictures.

The Learning Zone: Composers has a little information about a lot of composers and is difficult reading.  However, it may have helpful links to sample recordings of their music.

Composer Biographies contains a little information about a few composers.
 

Maps
Go.com has a searchable map site.  (Your maps should probably show simply the location of the city within the country.)

Mapquest has maps of countries in the world.  You can search for a country, but it doesn't locate a city within a country for you.
 

Audio Resources
MP3.com  You will need to know some of the types of music your composer created to look them up on this site.

The Global Music Network may have information about the composer, but has sound files for many.

Downloads Direct has many pieces, but it may be more difficult to locate your specific composer.
