Faith Steed Howarth
After I got out of the Relief Society - I was in the presidency, you know - and then I taught for three years. Taught the Doctrine and Covenants. But, do you know what? The things I read - I can't remember of course, they're over further in the book in three years we didn't get clear over to there.
Aunt Allie [Alice Howarth, one of the daughters of Benjamin Nephi Howarth] was lovely. She was a sweet, dear woman. When she was lying there in the hospital before she died, she asked me to pray for her. I told her I was doing it every day. But, it was her time, you know. She was ready to go. She had done nothing but good all her life, you know. She was the only one that stayed true and faithful to the Gospel. She said she had been married to this man but it didn't work, so, she never wanted to be married.
