Make Your Own Anaglyphs
Updated APRIL 2001
A NASA site that tells you where glasses
can be found.
"INSTRUCTIONS" is my method of making anaglyphs.
"ANAGLYPHS" is an example, including my first anaglyph and a still
life.
"PICTURES" is just a fun page of photos.
"QUILTPAGE" is snappy pictures of some of my wife's quilts in a zip
file.
Kids flight day at the Sherman airport.
Any mathmaticians?
My anaglyphs are generated for red/blue glasses with blue over the right
eye.
The anaglyph below was put together in Adobe Photodelux.
The background and "3D" were generated in other graphics programs.
* This is a good check of your 3D glasses.
* With your 3D glasses on, as you slide the mouse pointer
over the picture it should appear to be above the two smallest "3D"s
and on about the same plane as the third and below the largest (although
it does not disappear below it). If this does not happen then there may be
problems with your glasses or monitor (needs to be set to at least 16bit)
To test what it may be, try the following: Close one eye and then the other
while looking at the graphic. If the largest "3D" seems to shift positions
slightly, then the glasses and monitor are working properly. If you still
don't see 3D, then you may be one of those that cannot merge the two
scenes together to make it appear as one image. I have known only
one person that could not see this image as 3D.
