OBJECTIVE: To work in a technically challenging position in the eastern-central Indiana area which allows me to provide my talents, skills, enthusiasm and dedication.

SUMMARY: Over twenty-seven years experience as computer operator, programmer, administrator, and troubleshooter on various systems and networks. Excellent problem solver. Very quick study.

EMPLOYMENT: Since August 1994 as Systems Administrator/Programmer at Morrisson-Reeves Library, Richmond, IN. Manage Dynix library application under uniVerse layered on Windows NT Server; Administer TCP/IP network, PIX firewall/DMZ, Sun Ultra Solaris email/web server, PCs running Windows XPSP2, 2000SP4 and 98SE. Installed much of infrastructure. Develop scripts as needed: SQL, WSH, ASPECT, QBASIC and VBScript.

From January 1992 until August 1994 provided computer consulting services, mostly to small businesses (still do this part-time). From August until December 1992, contracted to Coors Brewing Company, Computer Operations, Golden, CO; performed job ops and backups on VAX 8600 cluster, IBM MVS, VM, and AS/400 systems.

From May 1986 until December 1991 was General Partner of H & E Concepts, Denver, CO. Designed, developed and distributed disk defragmenter (DEFRAG ) for DEC VAX/VMS systems. Owned and managed MicroVAX/VMS system. Provided customer support and troubleshooting via phone, FAX, and modem to over 200 customer sites in nine countries.

From June 1980 until April 1986 served on development team for Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc., Englewood, CO, to produce the first computer-generated aeronautical charts. Served as Senior Graphics Support Analyst (troubleshooter) in a two-shift high-intensity production environment using two networked DEC VAX/VMS CPUs.

CERTIFICATION: Microsoft Certified Professional ID# 2348648 -- Exam 70-210, "Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional", passed 25 May 2001 [for verification, see Pearson VUE's Score Report Authentication page, Registration 2755327, Validation 1134538254].

RELEVANT DATA: Instructed for Indiana University East, Continuing Studies. 1994-1995: Intro to DOS & Windows 3.1.

SKILLS: Type 65+ wpm, data entry 8,550 kph (99+%). Operate all common office equipment. Able to troubleshoot and repair most computer equipment. Familiar with numerous application programs.

PERTINENT DATA: IQ in top 0.1 percent. Good health, eyesight is correctable to 20/20, full depth perception and color vision.
