All the following images were taken with a 12" LX200 scope using an f/3.3 reducer lens giving a focal length of about 1000mm. Each was taken from my front yard beneath the street lights in the city of Beaverton, Oregon. M109 was not visible at all visually during the two nights I took these images. The CCD camera sure makes front yard astronomy much more interesting.
