Film Astrophotography
When I can get out to dark skies, I like to shoot film. Most of these were taken under the dark skies of the Oregon Star Party.

CCD Imaging with the
SBIG STV

The STV is a unique CCD camera. It was designed to be the best in class astrophoto guider available. It is also capable of capturing short and long exposure images, producing video, and analyzing a number of system characteristics.

CCD Deep Sky Images
with a Meade Pictor 216xt

My first entry into CCD imaging was with a Meade Pictor 216xt. While these cameras require a great deal of patience, I was able to get some reasonable images and I learned a lot.
